My services include bridal styling, occasion hair, braiding parties, feed-in braided extensions, box braids, hair tinsel application, holiday hair wraps, one to one lessons (in person and online), workshops, and more.
I have a huge passion for intricate braiding and unique bridal hair designs. You can view examples of the styles I have created on my Instagram and Facebook pages. I am a fully registered self employed business with all the relevant insurances. I look forward to meeting you!
About me
I first got into hair when my daughter turned 4 and I thought “there must be more to life than a ponytail.” I started my hair journey predominantly as a braider, learning as many different techniques as I could, before launching into the bridal hair world, and I have been recognised nationally and internationally for my braiding and bridal work. Styling hair is my absolute dream job and I pride myself on the 100% success rate of 5 star reviews from my clients. If you are looking for a hairstylist I cannot wait to meet you!

WOW!!! I booked Laura for my wedding hair along with 10 bridesmaids, MOB and MOG and honestly it was THE BEST decision I made! From the start of my consultation I knew I had made the right choice, Laura was sooo friendly, bubbly and chatty and put me at complete ease straight away. She brought with her two other incredible stylists on the day and every single person felt like a princess and by the end of the morning I genuinely felt like they were part of the bridal party. They stayed chatting and Laughing with us all while we all got ready so they could do final touches before we left, ensuring everyone looked perfect, I cannot recommend Laura enough!! Choosing Versastyle by Laura to do my prom hair styling was the best decision!
When I showed my interest in having big, voluminous curls based on the inspiration photo, she took it in her best intention to deliver and go above and beyond.
Not only did she provide the best prom hair styling but she is also such a genuine person and does every step with special care, whilst also having a lovely conversation.
I would recommend this to everyone, as you can not often find the perfection you want in hair styling, but i promise you will find it in whatever service you decide with Laura!

Laura is the most incredible hairstylist, and I am SO pleased I booked her for my wedding. Not only does she create absolute masterpieces with hair, but also she is the most lovely person with the best energy. In the buildup to the wedding she was super attentive, always available to answer questions and offer advice. On the morning of the wedding she brought so much energy and also kept us all super relaxed - all my bridal party loved chatting with her. She was especially wonderful with my mum who had a perm disaster leave her partially bald just above her forehead, but that was no problem for Laura who not only did a gorgeous job of the hair (you'd never know about the bald spot!) but also gave her a massive confidence boost. I couldnt recommend Laura more, thank you so so much for making us all shine on my big day 🥰

Laura is truly the most amazing hair stylist a bride could ask for! Not only was my hair just beautiful but she as a person is too. She was relaxed, fun and just bought the best vibes on the morning of my wedding. She made everything seem so easy, seem-less and stress free.
My MOH bless her is very particular on her hair but this wasn’t an issue for laura she worked with her till it was perfect and NOTHING was too much trouble. She genuinely wanted everyone to feel great and she certainly achieved this.
She also made a surprise reel full of videos of my wedding morning (despite the chaos of a very big bridal party getting ready). This was just such a thoughtful and lovely touch. She captured beautiful memories I will be able to look back on forever.
From one happy bride to another even hesitate to book Laura you wont be disappointed.

I cannot recommend Laura enough! She did the hair for my wedding as well as all four of my bridesmaids, and every single style was absolutely beautiful.
From the very beginning, from going to her house for a trail we went for an up-do she was professional, friendly, and made us all feel completely at ease. Then a few weeks later I got my dress and wanted to have another trail with a different look to 100% make sure what I wanted. Laura had absolutely no problem with me having another trail and she wanted to make sure I was happy with my hair. Laura was so calm and relaxed as I didn’t even pick which hairstyle I was going for until the morning of my wedding. She listened to exactly what we wanted and somehow made our ideas even better than we imagined. Despite having multiple hairstyles to create on the morning of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and on time, helping to keep the morning calm and stress-free.
Our hair looked incredible all day and stayed in place from the ceremony right through to the evening celebrations.(and the next day) We received so many compliments, and I felt so confident and beautiful on such an important day.
Thank you for being such a special part of our wedding day and for helping me and my bridesmaids feel our absolute best. I would happily recommend you to anyone looking for a talented and reliable wedding hairstylist!

Laura was my hair stylist for my wedding back in September. She was incredible! My bridesmaids and I looked and felt amazing on my big day. She really saw my vision, was happy to make changes, and was excited to get creative with my style. She was so much fun to spend the morning with, even though we started early! She even took loads of clips of us all morning and make the sweetest video to share.

What can I say about Laura except she is amazing. She is exactly who you need with you on your wedding morning. She is not only an exceptional hair stylist she is the hype woman of all hype women! She adds that little extra to your day. She did a stunning job on my hair and a few of my bridal party. She deserves all the awards. Laura pays attention to the little details. The reels she creates of your morning are perfect they are exactly what you need whilst waiting for your photographer. She helps you to relive the magic of your morning. Laura not only is an amazing stylist, but went above and beyond for my sisters wedding. She was chatty, kind and hilarious which helped ease many of our nerves. She took the time to try and get to know us all and was the best hype woman we could have asked for on such a big day. She helped capture such a special day alongside us by taking photos and videos and managed to capture moments that were missed by even us.
I will be booking Laura at my own wedding when that one day happens. I would not want anyone else doing my hair on such a special day. Would highly recommend.

Laura at VeraStyle by Laura did my wedding hair and she was absolutely amazing! My hair looked perfect all day and I had so many compliments. She’s incredibly talented, listens to what you want, and makes you feel completely at ease. On top of that, Laura is funny and such a lovely person to have around on the morning of your wedding – she really added to the joy of the day. What happens in the bridal dressing room, stays in the bridal dressing room 😉 I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for a skilled and reliable hairstylist.

Laura Was Incredible – So Talented & So Fun!
Laura is not only incredibly talented, but also so much fun to be around! She did hair for me and my three bridesmaids for my wedding earlier this month, and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience.
From the moment I first enquired, she was super efficient and helpful. I ended up having two hair trials because I was really unsure about what I wanted, and I was feeling a bit anxious about how it would all turn out on the day. But looking back, I had nothing to worry about — my hair was absolutely perfect!
Laura made the whole wedding morning so relaxed and enjoyable, and as a really lovely surprise, she even created a reel of the morning with my girls, which was such a thoughtful touch and something we’ll cherish.

Laura is simply amazing! Her contact is amazing even if you ask her a million questions! She is so easy to be around. After meeting her for my trial I felt like I had spent the afternoon with a friend! On my wedding day she was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. She helped right up until I was in my dress and ready to go. I could not imagine my wedding morning with anyone else. I would encourage anyone to book her. She really was brilliant.

Laura did an amazing job at styling mine and my bridesmaids hair for our wedding. I would definitely recommend her.
She listened to the style I was after and I absolutely loved it. My hair can be quite frizzy but she tamed all the flyaways and it lasted so well.
Not only is she amazing at what she does but she's such a lovely person and put us all at ease too which made our morning even more special!!

Laura did my hair for me on my wedding day! From the moment I met her at my trial, I knew I had made the right choice. We just got on straight away and she is absolutely incredible at what she does. I also changed my mind on my style the week before my wedding and she made my vision come to life on the day. Besides being a brilliant hairdresser, it felt like having a good friend with me on the wedding morning, helping me to get ready. My memories of getting ready are ones I will never forget and I am glad I had Laura there. It’s a shame I am not planning on getting married again but if I did, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Laura ☺️

I couldn’t have asked for a better hairstylist than Laura for my wedding day — she was absolutely incredible from start to finish! She’s so organised and professional; from my very first enquiry to the trial and right up to the big day, she kept in touch and made everything feel easy and stress-free.
On the wedding morning, she brought such a fun, calm energy — it honestly felt like having a friend there. She really listened to what I wanted and created the perfect style for me. I absolutely loved how my hair turned out — the curls were exactly what I envisioned, and they even lasted for three days!
Laura also created the most beautiful hairstyles for my bridesmaids — they all looked stunning and felt amazing. She made everyone feel so relaxed and taken care of.
And to top it all off, she surprised me with the most gorgeous little reel from the day — so personal and thoughtful. It’s something I’ll treasure forever. I can’t recommend Laura highly enough — she’s an absolute dream to work with and truly made the morning so special!

We are huge Laura fans and I'm not sure where to start. My hair trial was lovely and we found the perfect style... until a week before the wedding when I changed my mind. I messaged Laura to apologise and she said no worries, let's do it! On the morning of the wedding, Laura was punctual (there before me), in great spirits and so calm. She chatted away with myself, mum, sisters and nieces and genuinely made the day even more fun and special. Laura is extremely talented and is an artist with what she creates. I could not have been more thankful that we spent our morning getting ready with her and will absolutely contact her again for any event or just because I feel like it because she is 10/10.

I attended one of Laura's how to braid workshops. I arrived without a clue what I was doing and with the amazing teaching guidance from Laura, I left knowing how to do dutch braids. Not only is Laura an amazing teacher, she is such an incredibly lovely person too!

Iv only been to see Laura twice as of yet but both times she smashed it, she’s a nice friendly lady and very easy to talk too and most importantly she done my hair soooo good! If you love festival and rave hair styles or even funky styles she’s the one to go to! Thank you Laura xx

The very first time I met Laura I was instantly put at ease and felt very comfortable around her; the conversation just flowed naturally and felt like I had been talking with an old friend at times! Laura worked quickly but took great care and was very gentle. What I liked is that she was very open to ideas and suggestions, as well as making her own whilst explaining her thought process.
I had met up with Laura a couple of times or so after my trial, leading up to my wedding day, to trial other hairstyles for her, and it was on these occasions especially that I learned how talented she was! Some of her creations truly are a work of art and she has a very keen eye for detail, aiming for perfection, and it really does reflect in her work.
Having Laura share part of my wedding day was very special to me and I can happily say I picked the right person. As a bonus, I can say that I have gained a friend in this journey 🙂 Anyone looking for a hairstylist, especially if looking for someone who can offer something a little alternative, and, even someone who just generally has a personality that really shines (which, to me, goes a long way), then Laura is your girl: she's a superstar!

Her work is outstanding and top notch!
In a world where people recommend so many services, especially when it’s around wedding days, it can seem overwhelming but Laura was the best choice.
The trial was great, instantly Laura made me feel so welcome, explained everything and really took the time to understand my vision and give some great tips.
The day itself was unforgettable and Laura and Becki really felt like one of the girls. We had fun and all looked and felt £1000000!

Laura did mine and my mums hair for my wedding on Sunday and honestly absolutely loved my hair so much I didn’t want to take it out at the end of the night! My mums hair was gorgeous too!
